Karen is a graduate of Canadore college Dental Hygiene, and has a Bachelor of Business Administration, (Honours) Degree, from Algoma University.
Karen is an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association, Ontario Dental Hygienist Association, and the Algoma District Dental Hygienist Society. For the past three years, Karen has also shown a deep interest in the public health of her community by being a Board Member of her local Algoma Public Health Unit, representing the City of Sault Ste. Marie.
